Holocaust Survivor to speak at WHS

Holocaust survivor Philip Gans will speak to Cherokee students on Thursday, April 7 at 10 a.m. in the Washington High School Auditorium as part of Tolerance Week.

This is the sixth year the Gerald L. and Kathleen A. Weiner Foundation has hosted the events of Tolerance Week. This year's community partners include Western Iowa Tech Community College, WITCC Lifelong Learning Institute, Morningside College, the Sioux City Community Schools, and Briar Cliff University.

This event is free and open to the public.
