The Sanford Museum will be presenting a program this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. entitled "The Art of Western Leather," with Bob Leach and Clint Fraley.

The art of western leather crafting may be considered an early American craft, but leather working is still popular today. Craftsmen such as Leach and Fraley are still creating high quality handmade leather crafts.

The pair will be discussing and demonstrating the craft on Saturday along with displaying things from belts, holsters, wallets and chaps. Plus they will also share their expertise on advanced saddle making.

Admission to the program is free, and open to the public. For more information call 225-3922 or email sanfordmuseum@iowatelecom.net.
