Woods threw the shot put 37-0 to win first place, and recorded a personal best 105-9 effort in the discus for third place in the competitive field.
Cherokee's Megan Carlson clocked a season's best 2:33 to place second in the 800 meters, and Krista Nicholaisen was fourth in the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 1:07.42, also a personal best.
Nicole Morgan placed fifth in the 100 meter hurdles in 18.3, and Hanna Bennigsdorf was sixth in the 3000 meters in a time of 13:05, also a personal best.
In the relays, Cherokee placed fifth in the 4x200 with Nicholaisen, Carlson, Maddy Kelley, and Megan Hummel timed in 2:03, a season's best; the distance medley with Katy Hart, Hummel, Katie Bice, and Sammy Hirschman timed in 5:15; and the 4x400 with Hummel, Carlson, Nicholaisen, and Danni Roethler timed in 4:46, a season's best.
"Many of our individual place winners had personal bests or season bests, so it was an exciting night for the girls," said Cherokee coach Jolene Hultgren. "As we get closer to conference and district meets, it's great to see these personal best performances at this time."
