Thursday, May 12, 2011

Pilot Rock Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter have donated an audio CD set to the Cherokee Public Library. The set contains 24 lectures about the American Revolution presented by Professor Allen C. Guelzo from Gettysburg College. Guelzo is the author of numerous books on American intellectual history, Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War era. In the CD series Guelzo presents a startling vivid narrative about the War for Independence. Pictured are Linda Craig, left, Pilot Rock DAR Chapter Librarian, who is presenting the CD set to Mary Jo Ruppert, Director of the Cherokee Library.
