Hinton won the team competition with 204 points, followed by MMC 122, River Valley 76, Akron-Westfield 65, Storm Lake St. Mary's 43, Hull Trinity Christian 35, and West Sioux 14.
Earning firsts for the host Eagles were Erica Dreckman with a 13.29 clocking in the 100 meters and a 27.07 time in the 200 meters; Nicki Schwarz with a 5:37 time in the 1500 meters; and the sprint medley relay of Carly Lehnhoff, Sydney Roberts, Amanda Hoefling, and Dreckman first in 1:57.
Lehnhoff was second in the 100 meters in 14.13; the distance medley relay of Amanda Hoefling, Lehnhoff, Dreckman, and Schwarz was second in 4:37; the 4x200 was second in 2:03 with Roberts, Monica DeLaCruz, Heather Hoefling, and Sarah Bird aboard; the 4x800 timed in 11:06 with Bird, Heather Hoefling, Schwarz, and Roberts running; and the 4x400 with Lehnhoff, Bird, Roberts, and Amanda Hoefling clocking 4:31.
Thirds went to Brandi Orr with an 88-4 discus throw; Liz Henke's 28-8 shot put; Amanda Hoefling's 28.0 time in the 200 meters; and Bird's 2:50 time in the 800 meters.
Fourths went to Jeri Welp's 12-2 long jump, and Anna Wilcox's 14:38 time in the 3000 meters.
For River Valley, Brittney Shropshire was first in the 100 meter hurdles in 17.18; Brittany Hunwardsen third in the 3000 meters in 14:03 and fourth in the 800 meters in 2:59; Olivia Goettsch fourth in the high jump with a 4-2 effort and third in the 1500 meters in 5:55; and MacKenzie King third in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:24.
In the relays, River Valley was third in the 4x800 in 12:25 with Bailey Fitch, Alysa Georgopoulos, Jordain Volkert, and Kelsie Brown running; second in the shuttle hurdle in 1:18 with Lexie Chester, Brittny Shropshire, King, and Georgopoulos aboard; third in the sprint medley in 2:07 with Chester, Volkert, Fitch, and Kari Ludvigson running; third in the distance medley in 4:52 with Goettsch, Shropshire, Fitch, and Ludvigson featured; third in the 4x100 with Fitch, Ludvigson, Chester, and Shropshire aboard; and third in the 4x400 in 5:32 with Brown, King, Jacie Jepsen, and Georgeopoulos running.
