Joplin Tornado Relief

SUTHERLAND - The Sutherland and Primghar Churches of Christ are sponsoring a relief effort for the tornado victims of Joplin, Mo.

Pastor Mike Cooper will be dropping off donated items in Joplin over the next couple of weekends.

Your help is needed to get supplies to the many families who have lost their homes and everything they own. Items of critical importance include: children clothing of all sizes, men's and women's clothing of all sizes, underwear, flip flops only (no shoes, yet), blankets, baby food and formula, basic hygiene products (toothbrush, deodorant, feminine products), basic medical supplies (Tylenol, bandages, etc.), water, non-perishable food items.

Cooper stated, "Thank you for your interest in helping these families. Please continue to pray for those affected by the tornado as well as the rescuer worker."

You can drop off any of the items at the Security State Bank in Sutherland, Security State Bank in Paullina or Primghar Savings Bank in Primghar.
