CAFM to run Thursdays through Sept. 29

Another sure sign that summer is here - the Cherokee Area Farmers' Market (CAFM) returns this Thursday, June 2.

The weekly event will be held each Thursday evening between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. from June 2 - Sept. 29, at the historic Cherokee Railroad Depot, 119 S. 4th St. in Cherokee.

CAFM features only Iowa-grown produce - grown in either Cherokee County or the adjoining counties of Buena Vista, Clay, Ida, O'Brien, Plymouth, Sac, Sioux and Woodbury.

CAFM also features art and craft items - all made with skill, artistry and precision - and sold at CAFM by the artisan.

CAFM vendor fees are $30 for the entire season, or $5 per market day.

For more information, call Jim Adamson, 712-229-9502.
