'Living with Loss' reunion

Friday, June 3, 2011

The Living with Loss Grief Support Group will be holding its 2nd Annual Grief Support Reunion on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Spring Lake Park Shelter House. There will be a pot luck style meal served with meat, beverages, plates and utensils provided. Everyone is encouraged to bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share.

Having helped hundreds of people cope with the loss of a loved one since being started in the 1990's, the Living With Loss group continues to be offered to the public several times through the year. This reunion is a great way to reconnect with one another and is open to anyone who has participated in the Living with Loss series in the past.

Living with Loss is a five-week series that includes grief education and peer support. The program is offered as a community service of Cherokee Regional Medical Center Hospice at no cost to the participants. If you have any questions regarding the reunion or grief support in general, you may contact Gretchen or Lori at (712) 225-6459.
