Sometimes the name of a store says it all, and Jane Ebert's new store on Cherokee's West Main Street is a case in point.
Jane Ebert is the owner of Simply for Her, a new West Main Street business specializing in clothing and accessories for women.
The store, which is located adjacent to Wilson TV and Appliance, is called "Simply for Her," and it features clothing and accessories for women, along with with some baby items and children's jewelry.
Ebert, the mother of three, moved to Cherokee from Moville in November 2009 when her husband Steve purchased the Wilson TV and Appliance business and building at 211 W. Main St. Steve has had a very short trip to work, as the couple renovated the upstairs of the Main Street building into a nice living quarters and Steve simply has to go downstairs to manage Wilson TV.
And now Jane has joined him in the short trip to work, because her new business, which opened on May 7, is also situated in the same, large building. At this early stage of the new business, Jane is the sole full-time employee at Simply for Her, though she has occasionally received help from her mother, Deb Drefke, as well as from Sydney Morton.
Jane and Steve Ebert are the parents of three children. Their son Mick, 26, works with his dad at Wilson's; daughter Melissa, 24, lives in Sioux City; and younger daughter Randi, 20, is a student at Morningside College and a member of the Mustang women's basketball team.
Simply for Her has a wide selection of purses and bags available at their new store on West Main Street in Cherokee.
Simply for Her is open for business from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursdays; and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday. Jane would be happy to meet all of you ladies and show you the merchandise she has.
Scarves are a really "in" fashion statement these days, and Simply for Her offers shoppers these lovely items, among others.
