Lockin wins Aurelia Men's Open

AURELIA - Brian Lockin won the Championship Flight at the 2011 Aurelia Men's Open last weekend at the Aurelia Golf Course.

Lockin's 73-38-111 edged fellow Aurelian Mike Kaskey (74-39-113) by two strokes. Tom James of Storm Lake was third with a 27 hole score of 114.

Another Storm Laker, Chuck Aarick, won the Presidential Flight by five strokes over Cherokee's Aaron Hember, while Kelley Jensen, Ryan McCarthy and Mark Radke took the first, second and third flights, respectively.
