LAWTON - It was "The McKensie Fitch Show" here on Wednesday, as the River Valley pitcher threw a one hit, five strikeout shutout against Lawton-Bronson and also helped her cause at the plate, driving in three runs with a double and triple.

It was all part of a 5-0 RV Western Valley Conference win over the Eagles. Fitch wasn't the whole show, of course, as her sister Bailey, Abbey Miller, Kari Ludvigson, Jessica Funderman, Kelsey Brown and Jordain Volkert also collected base hits for the Wolverines.

RV coach Dean Norris said his team really needed the big win, and he hopes they can build off of it as the season continues.
