Summer fun with Cherokee Recreation

Looking for something fun to do every week? The Cherokee Recreation Department is offering the following programs one morning per week:

June 23- Kite Flying; June 30 - Canoeing (numbers limited); July 7 - Bike Safety & Rodeo (in conjunction with Letsche's Bike Shop); July 14 - Learn how to Disc Golf; July 21- Sidewalk Chalk Art; July 28 - To be announced; August 4 - Hiking with Ginger Walker, County Conservation Director.

Times: 8:30 -10:00 a.m. - kids entering K to 2nd grades,

10:30 -12:00 noon - kids entering 3rd-5th grades.

This new program is FREE during this initial summer season thanks to a grant awarded by the Cherokee County Legacy Foundation.

Register for one or more of these fun activities. Pre-registration is necessary, so register at the Community Center, or call 225-2715.
