On Saturday July 2 there will be several events taking place at the Cherokee Middle School. From 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. the All School Band Practice will be held in the Band Room with director Joe Vannatta; from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., the All School Chorus Practice will be held in the Vocal Music Room with director Nancy Cline Ewing; the All School Entertainment will begin at 11 a.m. at the Middle School Gymnasium, and the All School Picnic, with a broasted chicken meal, will be at 11:30.

Advance tickets are required for the meal, and there will be no alcohol or tobacco products allowed. Seating will be available both inside and out and indoor seating will be handicapped-accessible and the room is air-conditioned. Bring your lawn or folding chair for additional outdoor seating.

Tickets for the picnic may be purchased at the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Office, located at 416 W. Main St. in Cherokee.
