Miller took the pitching loss for WHS, giving up seven earned runs on nine hits and four walks, with one strikeout in three innings of work. Shanon Shaefer relieved and pitched one inning, facing three batters.
Cherokee scored its lone run in the second inning after Clare Tuttle arrived on an error, advanced on a single by Larsen, and scored on a single by Miller.
