STORM LAKE - The Ridge View softball team put together another solid performance Wednesday night as they defeated Storm Lake St. Mary's by the score of 6-2 here in non-conference softball action.

Dana Hustedt threw all seven innings to pick up the win for Ridge View, allowing two runs on four hits, walking two and striking out one.

The Raptors totaled 10 hits, and the coaches were happy with how the

players continue to work hard to improve.

"We are starting to hit the ball from top to bottom of our line-up which is good to see," said the Raptors' Coach Scott Phelps.

Leading the way at the plate for the Raptors were Kaitlin Wulf, who went 3-4 with one RBI; Nicole Snyder, who went 3-3 with two RBI; and Gretchen Kistenmacher, who went 2-4.

Ridge View is now 19-9, but will not be playing in the conference tournament, which started Thursday, as only four teams are invited, and Ridge View lost a tiebreaker to get in for the 4th position.
