Ridge View takes third place in WVC Tourney

LAWTON - Ridge View's Kyle Wessling tossed a no-hit shutout against IKM-Manning here Wednesday night in a 6-0 win in the consolation game of the Western Valley Conference tournament. Wessling pitched seven innings, struck out eight and walked only two, as the Raptors closed their regular season with a 17-9 mark and were 11-3 in the conference.

Heath Clark was 3 for 3, including a double and triple, to lead the Raptors at the plate, and he was ably assisted by Josh Mohr, who was 2-3 and Travis Hoeppner, who was also 2-3, including a home run.

Ridge View coach Shannon Tesch said his team played good defense in support of Wessling's gem, and the offense "came up with some big hits in big spots."
