Class of '56 holds 55th Class Reunion

The Cherokee Washington and Immaculate Conception High School Classes of 1956 had a 55th Class Reunion Banquet at the Cherokee Country Club on Friday July 1, 2011, with 46 class members and spouses attending. Guests Bernie Saggau and his wife Janet and Lynn Schweir and his wife Donna brought the total in attendance to an even 50.

Saggau, who was the class' 8th grade History teacher, was the featured speaker at the banquet, and Schweir's first year of teaching Industrial Arts in Cherokee coincided with the Class of 1956's senior year.
