Ashley Weede and Steve Tapper, both currently living in Sioux City, happily announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Ashley, the daughter of Larry and Diana Weede of Cherokee, is a 2003 graduate of Cherokee Washington High School, who earned a Bachelors Degree at Wayne State College in 2007 and will receive a Master's degree in Speech and language pathology from the University of South Dakota in August 2011. She is currently employed by Educational Service Unit #1 as a Speech and Language Pathologist, covering the Homer, Nebraska school district.
Steve is the son of Kevin and JoAnne Tapper of Cherokee. He is a 2002 graduate of River Valley High School and received his B.A. degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management and Finance, from Northwestern College in 2011. He is currently employed with Diamond Vogel in their Sioux City store.
The couple are planning an August 13, 2011 wedding at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cherokee, with a reception and dance to follow at the Western Iowa Tech Conference Center in Cherokee.
