Tammy Ann Trout, age 43 of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. Graveside Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Meriden Cemetery in rural Meriden. Pastor Greg Johnson will officiate. The family will greet friends at the cemetery 15 minutes prior to the service. The Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee is assisting the family with arrangements. Tammy Ann Trout, the daughter of Dale and Maredith "Chris" (Christie) Newell was born February 21, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. Her early childhood years were spent in Chicago before the family moved to Cherokee, where she attended school and graduated from Cleghorn High School. She then attended three years of college at Morningside College in Sioux City.

Following her schooling, Tammy moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas, where she worked various jobs. Most recently, she worked for E & B Tire Service, where she was a sales manager for four years.

On July 30, 2011, Tammy passed away unexpectedly at the Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her mother Chris Newell in 2010.

She is survived by her father, Dale Newell of Meriden; one foster sister, Marlo Cassady of Le Mars; one foster brother, Tim Ricklefs of Canby, Minn.; one sister, Holly Newell of Dallas, Texas; as well as other relatives and many friends.
