Aurelian graduates USMC Boot Camp

Pfc Ross A. Fitzgerald 23, Aurelia, graduated from the United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on August 12, 2011.

Pfc Fitzgerald successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MRCD San Diego, Cal. as one of 281 recruits in Kilo Company, Platoon 3227.

While in basic training, Pfc Fitzgerald was Squad Leader and Catholic Prayer Leader for Third Recruit Tarining Battalion, Kilo Company, Plt 4227 and graduated as Rifle Expert.

Following 10 days home on leave, Pfc Fitzgerald will assist the Sioux City Marine Corps office for seven days recruiters assistance and following the recruiters assistance, he will report to Camp Pendleton for two months at Infantry Training Battalion, then Military Occupation Specialty school. Pfc Fitzgerald will be stationed at base following training.
