Air Methods has ribbon cutting at CRMC

Air Methods displayed the helicopter they use for their air transport to-and-from the Cherokee Regional Medical Center to interested Commercial Club members and others on Friday morning at the heli-pad west of CRMC. Air Methods Regional Vice President Patti Klein then addressed the crowd and displayed her enthusiasm for the company's choosing Cherokee as the latest location for their hands-on medical transport business, saying that she had no doubt that in Cherokee they had chosen the right community. Klein introduced the entire crew of the Cherokee helicopter, including pilots, mechanic and medcal personnel.

The traditional red ribbon was then cut by Klein and CRMC CEO John Comstock,symbolizing Air Methods' entry into the Cherokee business community. The weekly Chamber Coffee then followed in the community room inside the Cherokee Regional Center.

The whole gang's here - The entire Cherokee team of Air Methods - those who fly, those who service the 'copter , and those who provide the hands-on medical treatment - was on hand for Friday's Red Ribbon cutting at the heli-pad at CRMC. The group is very pleased to be working with the Cherokee Regional Medical Center , and Air Methods Regional VP Patti Klein, speaking to the crowd at the ribbon cutting, said that she felt that Air Methods had "absolutely made the right choice" when they decided to come to Cherokee.
