The Board of Trustees and staff of the Cherokee Public Library are excited to announce that Amazon Kindle readers will now work with ebooks downloaded from the WILBOR (West-Central Iowa Libraries Building Online Resources) website at http://wilbor.lib.overdive.com.

WILBOR is a database sponsored by Iowa libraries that offers access to downloadable ebooks and audio books. Anyone wishing to access its materials must set up an account at the site. In order to do that an active card number from a participating library must be used. In the case of Kindle users, an Amazon account must also be active.

All holdings on WILBOR are now also listed on the Cherokee Public Library's catalog which can be accessed at www.cherokee.lib.ia.us. Watch for appropriate icons showing headphones or the letter E or look for the notation saying "no copies" which means there are no physical copies available at the library for checkout.

Please call 712-225-3498 or visit the library to ask any questions about ebooks and WILBOR. Written instructions are available at the circulation desk.
