Ready to go

Monday, October 17, 2011

This spiffy new building recently constructed at George Hicks Field at Cherokee Washington High School will serve the District for equipment storage for track and field, and football, among other uses for track and field meets. The building was financed through shared funding from the District, Cherokee Athletic Booster Club, private donations, and a modest insurance settlement for the former building destroyed in the July 2010 tornado. Haselhoff Construction of Cherokee erected the building for costs, according to Cherokee Superintendent Dr. John Chalstrom. Photo by Paul Struck
