Two more historical Cherokee buildings were recently listed on the National Register of Historical Places.

In the top photo, Steve Schroeder, left, and Jim Adamson, of the Cherokee Historical Preservation Commission are pictured placing a historical plaque on the Cherokee Depot.

Also receiving a historical plaque was the Railway Express Building located directly south of the Cherokee Depot. Once again Steve Schroeder, left, and Jim Adamson placed the plaque marking the building as part of the National Register of Historic Places (bottom photo)
