The Cherokee Chamber of Commerce's annual Main Street Trick or Treat Costume Parade will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.

The sidewalk parade of downtown will begin and end at the Cherokee Fire Department.

All costume parade entrants are asked to check in at the Cherokee Fire Department between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. The parade will leave the Cherokee Fire Department parking lot at 1 p.m.

Businesses not on Main Street can bring candy or items to put in the goodie bags that are handed out to the children. Pleases have all goodie bag items to the Chamber of Commerce by October 24.

The Parade route will take participants west from the Cherokee Fire Department onto Fourth Street, then north to Main Street; the group will turn west to Fifth Street, across the street and continue west on Main Street to Electric Beach; then across Main Street and then head east on Main Street to First Street; cross the street and walk west on Main Street back to Fourth Street, turning south and going back to the Cherokee Fire Department to hand out all goodie bags.

Last year the Parade had over 300 kids. The Chamber encourages your employees to wear a costume and make this a memorable event for all the little goblins.
