ORANGE CITY -- Ken Todd, a grower from Quimby, won a free 100 hour demo of a Case IH MX315 tractor for fall 2011.

Todd was among the more than 500 growers who entered a drawing to win the tractor demo at the Pioneer Hi-Bred Research Center Open House and Field Day in Orange City this summer.

Each grower who attended the event and visited the Pioneer FITŪ Services display was automatically registered to win the tractor demo, compliments of Northwest Implement in Orange City. Ultimately, it was Ken Todd whose name was drawn from the entries.

The field event included a ribbon cutting for the new Pioneer Corn Research Center in Orange City. The new Research Center will provide expanded development and testing of new commercial corn hybrids for farmers in northwest Iowa, northeast Nebraska, southeast South Dakota and southwest Minnesota.
