Final District football standings

Lawton-Bronson, 7-0 in District play, 9-0 overall; IKM-Manning, 5-2 ,6-3; Manson NW Webster, 5-2, 6-4; Prairie Valley, Gowrie, 4-3, 5-4; Ridge View, Holstein, 4-3, 4-5; Hinton, 2-5, 2-7; West Monona, Onawa, 1-6, 1-8; Westwood, Sloan, 0-7, 0-9.


Ridge View had the following players named to the All-District first team: QB Seth Johnson; Wide Receiver Kris Alesch; tackle Michael Davidson; middle linebacker Jamie Huenecke and cornerback Austin Graff. Davidson is a junior, and the others are all seniors.

Named to the All-District second team were: Wide Receiver Ryan Garthoff, a sophomore; junior running back Dru Kenny; and seniors Kyle Wessling at strong safety and linebacker and Logan Schafer, a defensive lineman.

The All-District Academic Team was also named, and the following students from Ridge View were chosen for that honor : football players Michael Davidson, Kyle Wessling, Seth Johnson and Isaac Jepsen; and cheerleaders Katie Boyle, Kelli Kistenmacher, Taryn Rasmussen and Kayla Ronfeldt.

The following awards were also voted on by the District coaches: Outstanding Punter - Robert Tank, IKM-Manning; Outstanding Place Kicker - Michael Grau, Lawton-Bronson; Offensive MVP - Luke Skinner, Lawton-Bronson;

Defensive MVP - Dylon Lower, Lawton - Bronson; Coach of the Year - Chad Moseman, Lawton - Bronson; Ass't Defensive Coaches of the Year - Jim Keegan, IKM-Manning and Travis Binder, Lawton- Bronson; Ass't Offensive Coach of the Year - Jim Duncan, Prairie Valley.
