The Beta Sigma Phi Fall Craft Show has been a tradition in Cherokee for 32 years. Many people attend the Show, and it has become a "pre-holiday" tradition for many.
What a great way to begin the holiday season, and also a perfect way to spend a beautiful fall Saturday.
The 2011 Beta Sigma Phi Fall Craft Show will be held at the Western Iowa Tech Community College Conference Center on Saturday, November 12. All proceeds from the Show will stay in our community and state.
In past years, money has been donated to such organizations and projects as CAASA, Cherry House, and the Bacon Aquatic Center, along with many other local worthy causes. This year, proceeds from the show have been earmarked for a graduating Washington High School senior who plans to pursue a technical degree.
The Beta Sigma Phi Fall Craft Show has it all. You will find unique holiday decorations and Christmas gifts - jewelry, pottery, quilts, food, sculptures, and so many more wonderful and fun ideas that will delight all those on your holiday gift list.
This year, there will be more than 50 booths at which you can shop, all displaying creative work. Crafters from Central Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska, as well as many favorite local crafters, will be participating in this fall's Craft Show, and Direct sales consultants will also be in attendance.
Cherokee is fortunate to have this wonderful event right here in our own backyard, so gather your friends and come join the fun. Come for coffee, then shop a little, enjoy a delicious "new" lunch, and then shop some more. It promises to be a great day.
Don't forget - Saturday November 12th, on the Cherokee WITCC campus. Doors open at 10 a.m., and admission is just $1.
Organizers of the show say, "Come early and stay late. We can't wait to see you there!"
