Holiday Hoopla in Aurelia

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Hand made wooden crafts for sale - Duane "Nobby" Buttenob had many of his hand-crafted items on display at Saturday's Holiday Hoopla in Aurelia. Nobby has been operating his Buttenob's Backyard Crafts business for 20 years.
A good-sized crowd (left)was on hand Saturday morning at the Aurelia Community Center to view (and purchase?) Christmas gifts from 17 different vendors at the town's "Holiday Hoopla." Photos by Dan Whitney.

Supporting the Warriors - The Alta-Aurelia Booster Club had many Alta-Aurelia Warriors items available for sale at Saturday's Holiday Hoopla event at the Aurelia Community Center.
The winner - Sara Thompson was the Gift Basket winner at Aurelia's Holiday Hoopla. Photo contributed.
Gift Baskets - The Aurelia Commercial Club had two gift baskets, valued at over $300, on display as one entered Saturday's Holiday Hoopla at the Aurelia Community Center. To be eligible to win one of the baskets, visitors needed to sign up for a drawing by visiting any of several Aurelia businesses, and the more of the businesses you visited the better your chances of winning. Pam Allen of Village Boutique is seated at the table in this photo, with her "right hand gal," daughter Mariah, standing - where else - at her right hand.
