CCT to hold auditions for Young People's Theatre

Friday, November 25, 2011

The Cherokee Community Theatre will be holding auditions for CCT's Young People's Theatre production of Disney's "Alice in Wonderland, Jr." on Sunday, December 4 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and on Monday, December 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Auditions will take place at the Cherokee Community Center at 530 W. Bluff St.

Young people who are age 7 (as of December 1, 2011) through 18 (but still in high school) are encouraged to try out for this production. Parents must accompany all children who are auditioning, and you will be asked to sign a Parental Consent form before the child can audition.

Please be prepared to sing at least 16 bars of a song you have selected or be prepared to sing "America, the Beautiful." If you choose to sing your own song, please bring accompaniment or clearly printed music for our audition accompanist.

If you aren't interested in being on stage, but would like to help with the performance, please come and fill out an audition form and indicate in which area or areas you would like to help.

Please bring your calendar to auditions, as we need to know of any conflicts that we may need to work around.

For more information, please contact director Christi Sayler at 712-225-1256.
