HOLSTEIN - The Ridge View Raptors squared their season mark at 1-1 with a 70-43 Western Valley Conference win over West Monona here on Tuesday.
The Raptors got off to a 20-6 lead in the first quarter and extended their lead to 27 points at the half, which was also their margin of victory.
Nicole Snyder led the Raptors' offensive output with 20 points, while Anna Davis added 12 points, Rachel Boyle tallied nine, Kaitlin Wulf had six, and Katie Boyle totaled five.
Kaitlynn Madsen had seven rebounds to lead Ridge View on the boards, and Snyder dished five assists to lead that category.
Raptors coach Ken Slater said, "This game was a huge improvement over our last game against OA-BCIG (a 90-28 loss). The girls came out with some great intensity and attacked West Monona offensively and defensively.
"We had some great runs which were a result of some great effort out of the girls on the defensive end. This was a good game for us to establish our identity and how we want to play."
