By painting its mighty barns, curvaceous farmland, centurion-like hay rolls, and other agricultural icons.
Artist Meredith Hladik Drummond, who is the featured Sanford Museum's Artist of the Month, has spied many of the scenes depicted in her oil paintings during weekend runs in central Iowa.
In this exhibit that will be on display through December, you'll not only see images of Iowa, but also views of her Hudson River Valley homeland's orchards, and more far-away scenes inspired during a stay at a finca, or farm, in Spain.
If you like her artwork you can contact Meredith at 515-490-6433 or Meredith.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Her work is currently on display in the Sanford Museum's East Gallery.
