South O'Brien boys improve to 2-0

PAULLINA - The South O'Brien boys won their second game without a loss here on Tuesday, handing Remsen St. Mary's their first loss of the young season, 59-25, in War Eagle Conference basketball.

Senior Adam Paulsen led the way for the Wolverines (2-0) with 23 points on 69% shooting from the field, including 75% from 3-point range; fellow senior Austin Wise scored 13 points, including 2 treys, and junior Matt DeVos canned all six of his field goal attempts for 12 points.

Junior Daniel Haden grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Wolverines on the boards; junior Sam Weber dished out four assists; and sophomore Brent Puhrmann had five steals.

No stats were available for the Hawks, who fell to 3-1 with the loss.
