Iowa Girls High School Basketball Rankings

WEST DES MOINES - In the latest Iowa Girls High School basketball rankings for Class 1A and 2A, released on Thursday, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn has dropped out of the Top 15, after the formerly 15th-rated Eagles (6-3) lost to Remsen St. Mary's on Tuesday.

Defending state champion Odebolt-Arthur/Battle Creek-Ida Grove, coached by Aurelia High School alumnus Pat Miller, maintained its number one ranking in Class 2A. The Falcons (11-0) are followed by two other Northwest Iowa teams, Estherville-Lincoln Central, which also sports an 11-0 mark, and IKM-Manning (8-1).
