Marcus Cub Scout Pack 113 now recruiting

Wednesday, January 25, 2012

MARCUS - Cub Scout Pack 113 is now recruiting new eligible boys who want a fun, educational scouting experience. Cub Master Cory Bouchard is looking for all boys beginning at age six with their parent's approval to come on our Scout Bus Tour in Marcus on Saturday, Feb. 4, beginning at 1 p.m.

The Scout Bus will be leaving the Scout House at 222 N. Main St. (basement of City Hall) sharply at 1 p.m. with Scouts, Scouters, recruits and parents aboard for a fun trip around the city while Boy Scout Troop 113 has activities for the younger boys both on the bus and at a stop in the park. While they are having fun, parents will have the opportunity to talk with Cub Master Cory while Scoutmaster Bob Hoefling does the driving.

This year veteran Assistant Scoutmaster Perry Groepper and Webelos Den Leader Judy Heidesch will be actively making this an incredibly fun year of scouting for the pack. "We are planning lots of fun outings this year, both summer and winter.

"Cub scouting often involves the entire family when there is an activity. We would love it if we got ideas from area parents so we are hoping for a big turnout on Feb. 4," said WDL Heidesch.

If you or a boy you know is interested please contact WDL Heidesch by leaving a message on her home phone of 712-376-4335.

All area families with eligible scouts are welcomed.
