Deichmann heads to Africa

Megan Deichmann will be traveling to Tanzania, Africa in June of 2012 with her nursing instructor and the STEMM (Siouxland Tanzania Educational Medical Missionaries) organization.

She will be in Tanzania for two weeks and will be working with children in the orphanages and assisting the people of Tanzania with HIV education, growth and development assessments, administrating immunizations and worm education, teaching Bible studies, assisting with food acquisition and preparation, making Hospice home visits, caring for disabled children, helping with various building projects, and teaching English.

Megan is a sophomore at Morningside College and is the daughter of John and Mary Deichmann of Marcus.
