Dylan Spieler led the 12-7 Eagles with 14 points and six steals, while Andrew Hoefling tallied 12 points, snagged seven rebounds, and registered two blocked shots.
Toni Winn paced the host Falcons with eight points, followed by Kembe Kooi and Austin Benda with seven apiece.
MMC sank 22-64 bfield goals for 34 percent, including just 2-16 three-pointers, and 1-4 free throws. West Sioux made 11-37 shots for 30 percent, including 2-14 three-balls, and 4-5 free throws.
The Eagles led 13-10 after one quarter, 25-19 at halftime, and 40-23 heading into the final eight minutes, outscoring the Falcons 15-4 in the pivotal third period.
"Our shooting percentage wasn't that great, but our defense sure compensated for that," said MMC coach Pat Bird. "We came up with 17 steals and held them to just nine points in the second half."
