CCT to present 'Almost, Maine'

The Cherokee Community Theater Board of Directors is pleased to announce its Spring production of John Cariani's 'Almost, Maine.'

On a cold, clear moonless night in the middle of winter, residents of a small, mythical town in far northern Maine are falling in and out of love at an alarming rate. Knees are getting bruised; hearts are getting broken...but the bruises heal and hearts mend-almost-in what has been described as a "charming midwinter night's dream."

This romantic comedy boasts an accomplished cast featuring Dave Zelle, Andrew Linn, Cheryl Ellis, Jan Brown, Gene Galvin, Tricia Langholdt, Ethan Sayler, and Jane and Presley Johnston.

Also featured in this series of humorous and charming vignettes are David Lafleur, Dallas Ellis, Ryan Kotz, and Tiffany Christensen, in her CCT debut.

All performances are held in the Cherokee Community Center, with performance dates and times as follows : Friday, March 9, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 10, 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, March 11, 2 p.m.; Friday, March 16, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 1, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 18, 2 p.m.

Reservations may be made anytime, either online at www.cherokeect.org, or by calling 712-225-4440. Clearly state your name, phone number and reservation request. To guarantee your reserved seat, tickets must be paid for by cash, check, or season ticket punch) and picked up at least 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled performance. This can be done at the Cherokee Community Center during the hours listed below. Tickets not picked up in advance may be resold to accommodate other patrons.

Box Office Hours : 4:30-7 p.m. on March 5, 6, 8, 12, 13 and 15 ; 6:30 - 7 a.m. on March 9, 10, 16 and 17; and 1-1:30 p.m. on March 11 and 18.

Tickets will also be available for sale at the door on performance nights, but the shows will start on time and patrons will not be seated after the performance has started.

The Cherokee Community Theater Board thanks the community for all the support that they give to CCT, as they strive to bring quality entertainment to the Cherokee stage.
