Lady Cyclones fall in Big 12

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 4th seeded Iowa State Cyclones trailed Kansas State by four at halftime in their Big 12 Tournament women's basketball game here on Thursday, and the Wildcats (20-12) managed to maintain that lead in the second half, gaining a 67-63 win over Coach Bill Fennelly's Cyclones.

Jalana Childs fired in 31 points to lead K-State's attack and she also grabbed 10 boards. Nicki Moody and Lauren Mansfield each scored 21 to lead Iowa State, which fell to 18-13 on the season
