A-A girls edge SE Webster Grand

DAYTON - The Alta-Aurelia girls faced Southeast Webster Grand in a Twin Lakes Conference dual golf meet Thursday on the Dayton Golf and Country Club course, and the Warriors won a tight match, 204-206.

SE Webster Grand had both the medalist and runner-up medalist, with the Eagles' Hallie Gallentine shooting a 46 and Kelsey Travis a 47.

Alta-Aurelia had three golfers - Kelsi Snyder, Erica Lockin and April Goslinga - each post a score of 48, and Jenna Snyder's 60 rounded out the team scoring. Maddi Meier also played for the Warriors, and she shot a round of 61.

Alta-Aurelia also won the Junior Varsity match, by a score of 259 - 298. Alta-Aurelia's Val Hernandez was the JV Medalist with her score of 56, and teammate Kaity Brake was runner-up medslist, posting a score of 62.
