The Lady Eagles managed two firsts and eight runner-up finishes on their way to 156 points and the team title.
Kingsley-Pierson/Woodbury Central was second in the team race with 150 points, followed by Remsen St. Mary's 103, R-U 76, Whiting 38, and Granville Spalding 28.
Winning first place for MMC were Erica Dreckman with a 26.9 time in the 200 meters, and Nicki Schwarz's 5:26 clocking in the 1500 meters.
Individual seconds for MMC were Dawn Henderson with a 95-6 1/2 discus throw, Jasi Vasher with a 4-10 high jump, Dreckman's 13.1 time in the 100 meters and 1:01.3 time in the 400 meters, Schwarz's 11:44 time in the 3000 meters, and the shuttle hurdle, distance medley, and sprint medley relays.
Kassi Kellog, Vasher, Sarah Bird, and Kaya Hantsbarger clocked a 1:29 in the shuttle hurdle; Carly Lehnhoff, Sydney Roberts, Haley Moser, and Amber Neisius were aboard the distance medley relay timed in 4:52; and Lehnhoff, Angeleah Hoefling, Moser, and Dreckman were featured on the sprint medley timed in 2:02.
MMC thirds went to Liz Henke's 27-9 shot put, Brandi Orr's 88-2 discus throw, Moser's 4-4 high jump, Schwarz's 2:39 time in the 800, and Lehnhoff's 13.7 in the 100 meters and 28.8 clocking in the 200 meters.
MMC also was third in two relays, including Roberts, Kellog, Vasher, and Kelli Seablom aboard the 4x800 in 12:26; and Neisius. Moser, Vasher, and Roberts rinning the 4x400 in a time of 4:37.
We doubled in eight individual events and finished strong to win the meet by six points," said a pleased MMC coach Ric Collins. "It took every point from every Eagle to have a team effort like this."
