Cherokee's fleet junior sprinter Marc Husman won the 800 meters and placed second in the 400 meters to lead the Braves at Tuesday's Cherokee Co-ed Relays here.
Husman clocked 2:04 to win the 800 meters, and was timed in 50.76 to finish runner-up in the 400 meters.
Cherokee's Eamon Adamson was stellar in his distance specialties, placing third in the 3200 meters in 10:39, and fourth in the 1600 meters in 4:48.
In the relays, the Braves were fourth in the medley, and fifth in the shuttle hurdle, 4x400, and 4x800.

Andy Pitts, Jose Freed, Luke Zieman, and Adamson ran the medley in 3:57; Zac taylor, Nathaniel Morgan, Ben Sampson, and Brendon Rupp were aboard the shuttle hurdle relay in 1:14; Rasheen Ulis, Husman, Adamson, and Zieman ran the 4x400 in a time of 3:39; and Zieman, Carlos Aguilar, Kevin Fajardo, and Austin Johnson were aboard the 4x800 relay clocking a 9:14.
Vaunted MOC-Floyd Valley won the team title with 142 points, followed by Orange City Unity Christian 101, Spencer 98, Le Mars 83, Storm Lake 81, Hull Western Christian 77, Sheldon 61, and Cherokee 51.
