Cherokee Regional Medical Center will be offering a Basics of Babysitting class for girls and boys aged 10 to 16.
This class will take place on Tuesday, June 5 from 8:30 a.m. -- 11 a.m. at Cherokee Regional Medical Center in the First Floor Education Room. The class will be offered at no cost and participants will receive a complimentary babysitting guide and a certificate of attendance. Light snacks will also be served.
The purpose of the Basics of Babysitting class is to provide the participants with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism, basic care, safety, and safe play.
There is no pre-requisite for this course beyond being at least 10 years of age
