Youths support 'Relay For Life'

Carter Jacobson, 9, a student at Cherokee Roosevelt Elementary School, is a member of a team of youngsters who will be participating this year in the annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life, scheduled for Friday August 3rd at Koser Spring Lake Park in Cherokee.

Carter sold more than $300 in chances on a FossII Key-Per purse, and in a May 11th drawing, the winner of the purse, which was donated by Carter's parents, Cara and Mike Jacobson, was Amy Wood.

Carter's team, Team Relax Station, is being chaired by Maddison Reinhardt, and Layne Reinhardt is the county representative on the team.

Carter thanks everyone for their support in his fundraising effort, and he encourages everyone to show their continued support as the team proceeds in their fundraising efforts.
