Not only will the breakfast feature great food, including pancakes, eggs, sausage and a beverage, but there will be plenty of airplane.
Many may remember the event at the Flight Breakfast but the event was changed last year to what organizers are calling "Wings and Wheels Breakfast" and will include not just an airplane show but automobiles, motorcycles, tractors and a helicopter, plus airplane rides for $20, weather permitting.
The event will begin at 7 a.m. and last until noon on Sunday, May 20. Cost for the breakfast will be $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12, and preschoolers are free.
Pilots, co-pilots and show drivers will also eat for free. As Cherokee Airport manager Brian Lauck stated, "Anything that looks cool is welcome - and we'll feed you, too."
Also, the Cherokee Airport will be hosting the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Chamber Coffee on Friday.
Anyone who wants to participate or volunteer in the "Wings and Wheels Breakfast" is welcome to call 225-2810 for more information.
All proceeds raised at the breakfast will go towards a scholarship to a local student who is interested in learning to fly.
