'God's Giggle Gang' coming to Cherokee

Thursday, May 24, 2012

On Sunday, June 3, the Cherokee Memorial Presbyterian Church will welcome the God's Giggle Gang at 2 p.m. as part of the Church's Guest Day.

God's Giggle Gang is comprised of Christians from a variety of denominations. The purpose of God's Giggle Gang is to spread the word of God in a little different method as well as spreading joy in the world. In other words, this group of individuals have been trained to be 'FOOLS' ... FOOLS for CHRIST!

They communicate God's word in various venues such as Mother/child banquets, nursing homes, revivals, health care events and especially in churches for specific holidays. One of their most requested programs takes place during the Lenten season where they present The Passion. This is an extremely moving pantomime and musical depiction of Christ's crucifixion -all communicated wordlessly and with the ability to touch people's hearts.

God's Giggle Gang members are:"Sparkle" - Diane Paugh of LeMars; "Rosie" - Roseanne Pridie of Sioux City; "Buster" - Rick Pridie of Sioux City; "Violet" - Marge Skokan of Sioux City; "No Clue" - Vicki Hemmelman of Merrill; "Lottie-da" - Jenny Herrick of Sioux City; "Spike" - Kaiden Paugh of Sioux City; and Mike Paugh - Sound Technician of LeMars.
