Ridge View boys pound Cherokee, 10-3

HOLSTEIN - The Ridge View Raptors beat the Cherokee Braves, 10-3, on Friday

behind a strong performance by Seth Johnson on the mound, where he turned in a complete game, six hit, seven strikeout effort, and at the plate, where he was 2 -for-3.

Chris Brosamle also slugged two doubles and drove in two runs for the Raptors, who are now 3-0; Kris Alesch was 2-4, and Kyle Wessling slugged a big three-run Adam Pitts led the Braves at the plate, with a 2 for 4 performance, including a double, and he scored two of the Braves' three runs. Nate Seliger also had a double.

Ridge View Coach Shannon Tesch said Seth Johnson "got stronger (on the mound) as the game went on. We hit the ball well tonight - driving the ball the opposite way. (It was a ) good way to finish the week."
