It's time to sign up for fun tennis instruction while also getting great exercise at the annual Youth Tennis Camp offered by the Cherokee Parks & Recreation Department. This two-week camp begins on Monday, June 11th, and runs for two weeks through Friday, June 22nd at the tennis complex on Indian Street. Sessions for ages 8-15 are in the mornings, with times dependent on the number of students participating. Camp fee for the ten-session camp is $40, and rackets are provided if you do not have one. High school tennis coach Dave Zelle is the lead instructor for this camp. Register in the afternoons at the Parks and Rec office in the Community Center, or at City Hall from 8-4:30.
