HOLSTEIN - The Ridge View Raptors scored 10 runs in the first three innings and rode the no-hit pitching of Kris Alesch to a 10-0 five-inning victory over Woodbine in Western Valley Conference baseball action here on Wednesday. Alesch's no-hit gem was his second of the young season, and he struck out 11 Tigers in the process. His coach, Shannon Tesch, said his ace is pitching great, but he was also thrilled wih the RAptors' offensive output, as they knocked out nine hits, many of them hard shots to the opposite field. Chris Brosamle drove in five of the Ridge View runs as he got both a double and a home run. Kyle Wessling also had a double and a single for Ridge View, and Seth Johnson was 1-2 and drove in two runs.
Ridge View is now 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Western Valley Conference.
