Rooosevelt Elementary School will present a three -part program - designed to give parents practical parenting skills they can use immediately - on three upcoming Tuesday evenings, June 12, 19 and 26, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
The program, called "Becoming a 'Love and Logic' Parent and Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun" will help parents answer questions
such as "How do I get them out of bed in time to catch the school bus?", "How can I stop my children fro bickering and fighting?", "How do I get him to stop spitting out his peas and whining at dinner?" and "Is there a way to discipline my toddler in public without creating a scene?", as well as many other day-to-day parenting challenges.
The program will be run in three 3-hour sessions at Roosevelt Elementary School, and there is no cost for families. Dinner and childcare will be also be provided free of charge.
